(Silvana Strufaldi is an artist who keeps her image upside down as a personal calling towards a society that tends to go more and more the contrary)

Self-taught artist

Silvana Strufaldi was born on July 30, 1973, in Tremembé – state of São Paulo, in Brazil. Daughter of Italian father and Brazilian mother, she has both citizenship, Italian and Brazilian. Since her childhood she has had a great artistic interest and has been self-taught since her youth developing her craft work. She spent eight years (1997-2000) creating puppets and educational toys completely from recycling materials ( fabric, wood - painted one by one). Making art is her way of earning a living.
She had worked hard until she got to focus on her passion – photography. In 2007 she found out the digital art and through it she can express her world vision and her Particular infinity.
For her image is the beginning, the end and the means.

BIOGRAFÍA (ITALIANO)

Silvana Strufaldi nasce il 30 luglio 1973 nella città di Tremembé, San Paolo, Brasile. Figlia di italiani, fin da piccola forma il suo gusto per l'arte.
Autodidatta, nella sua gioventù sviluppa una grande abilità per l’artigianato, trascorre 8 anni (1997-2005) realizzando marionette e giocattoli educativi utilizzando sclusivamente materiali riciclati (tessuti e legno dipinti a mano). Facendo dell'arte il suo mezzo di vita.
Lavorare instancabilmente per essere in grado di dedicare il suo tempo alla sua vera passione, la fotografia, scopre l’arte digitale nel 2007 e attraverso essa esprime la sua visione del mondo, il suo infinito particolare.
Per lei, l'immagine è l'inizio, il fine e il mezzo.

Artista autodidata

Silvana Strufaldi nasce em 30 de julho de 1973, na cidade de Tremembé - São Paulo – Brasil. Filha de pai italiano e mãe brasileira, conserva a dupla cidadania, desde sua infância já demonstrava interesse artístico. Autodidata na sua juventude desenvolve grande facilidade para o Artesanato, passa 8 anos (1997-2005) criando marionetes e brinquedos educativos com materiais totalmente reciclados (Tecido, madeiras pintadas a manos).
Fazendo da arte seu meio de vida.
Trabalhou até poder dedicar seu tempo a sua verdadeira paixão, a fotografia, descobre a arte digital em 2007, e através dela expressa a sua visão do mundo, o seu infinito particular.
Para ela a imagem é o princípio, o fim, e o meio.

(La artista Silvana Strufaldi mantiene la imagen de su perfil hacia abajo como un llamamiento personal frente al futuro de una sociedad que cada vez más tiende a ir al revés)

Silvana Strufaldi nació un 30 de julio de 1973 en la cuidad de Tremembé-São Paulo-Brasil. Hija de padre italiano, y madre brasileña, conserva la doble nacionalidad, desde muy niña demuestra interés artístico. Autodidacta en su juventud desarrolla gran facilidad para la artesanía, pasa 8 años (1997-2005) creando marionetas y juguetes educativos con materiales totalmente reciclados (textil, maderas pintadas a mano). Haciendo del arte su medio de vida.
Trabajo hasta poder dedicar su tiempo a su verdadera pasión, la fotografía, descubre el arte digital en el 2007 y a través de ella expresa su visión del mundo, su infinito particular.
Para ella la imagen es el principio, el fin y el medio.
